Go'n out to Willow Springs with the Alfa Club in 2 weeks and I thought I'd throw in some new pads, flush the fluid, and smoke over the bottom of the old blue car ...

    Looking real good Chuck!
You'll have a bunch of 911 company that weekend.
Some of the guys from this thread will be there too.
When was the last time and what is a good time for you and your 911 at Big Willow? Street or DOT tires?
I think Johnny Riz and you might be in the same run group, Jack Olsen too?
Several Porsches in the race group....
We'll arrive Friday afternoon, and you?

    Hey Mike,

Last time I was on any track 'with a helmet on' was with the Alfa club at Willow in Jan.'03 when I hurt the old motor...

For some reason I always did better at The Streets then the Big Track ... Best time to date is low 1:44's with the 2.4 ... I expect a little better this time

I've always run track events on D.O.T.'s

Will be gett'n there early Sat. morning...

My buddy Hector is go'n out with his Alfa another friend and his 24' motorhome... a little cramped for 3

So... I just called the Devenshire Inn (@ the Rosamond off ramp) and they were all booked for Sat. night

    Smile too clean.....

Those wheel wells are far too clean for a track car......

We'll see about changing all that....

Lookin' forward to bein' out on the track wit ya Chuck.....this 'll be fun !!!

Last time I drove with the Alfa club, I totaled my car at Laguna.

But I'll be there, this time.
