Does anyone know where Jens is???

Over on Rennlist they are wondering and I sent him mail today and haven't heard from him. Perhaps it's snowing in Vermont???

    Cool

    Nobody here but us chickens!

No skiing yet, but I did get a new pair of race boots built by my friend PJ from the US Ski Team. He built Darren Rahlves' boots and Tommy Moe's, Picaboo's, Bode's... I'm optimistic about getting out on the hill this year. It's gonna suck to put the cars away for the winter, but, well, we gotta do something to ward off cabin fever!

Right about now California is sounding better and better. Say anyone need Porsche mechanic out there? I don't eat much and I can be well mannered if I put my mind to it.

    he's right...

Jens, George is right. About this time of year, I get what I refer to as "powder munchies".

California is great, but boy do I miss this...

That's where I USED to live.

Yeah, it's torture to drive to work, see this as I get closer, and need to stop before I really get close....

Just another 45 minutes in my car.....

Is that The Hood? I read an article on it a few years back in POWDER, about skiing the higher elevations. Some pretty extreme faces on that hill, if you know where to go and how to get there.

Yep, good 'ole Mt Hood. Skiing year round... and only a bit over an hour from my home (closer if I leave from work).
