excuse my ignorance: is this a 73 rs recaro?

Having looked at all the recaro sport buckets out there I thought they were all made out of one piece, but this one is made out of 2 with a backrest adjuster.....

if your talking about Porsche correct, then yes it's not correct, but recaro sold this seat on the aftermarket and finished it in a few different fabrics.

Damn, that's some beautiful patina on that seat. It looks cozy even , like sitting in front of the fireplace with a good Porsche book kind of cozy.

Looking at Sam's pics, I'm wondering if he showers with (in) his seats???
Worse than we all thought perhaps?

I had an all vinyl pair with basketweave centers. Original with Recaro emblem, so not factory installed.

Going back to the original picture.....

That's a new seat from RSL in Germany.

That particular seat is on Ebay Germany right now.

I went onto the RSL website, and they will even put heaters into those seats!

Does anyone have a seat from RSL in Germany? How's the quality?

I had a pair of Roman's RS Lightweight seats (he calls them RS Racing) earlier this year. Quality was/is excellent & they are very accurate - the covering is the main giveaway when compare to the originals.
