    901/13 gearbox?

    Can anybody tell me what the tech specs are of a 901/13 gearbox. It seems to have been a swb 911s gearbox but I suspect with different ratio's than stock. I have been unable to find any details on the web or in my limited literature.......... thx

    From the factory repair manual:
    "Effective from 30, Nov., 1968, cars of types 912, 911T, 911E and 911S (not Sportomatic) are fitted as standard with a pressure cast gearbox housing.

    Gearbox type 901/13 (5-speed)
    7:31 (11:34, 18:34, 22:29, 25:26, 29:23)
    For vehicle type 911E and 911S
    911T (option)"

    Prior to this I believe the gearbox cases were sandcast.
