    Kermit's Coming Out Party

For those of you in the area, that didn't get a chance to do our Indiana get together, I'd like to have a brief get together this coming Saturday Afternoon November 13th, at my place - From 2:00 - 4:00. I'll supply liquid refreshment and an opportunity to show off my new pride and joy - YES I REALLY DO OWN A PORSCHE!!!

This may be the last weekend to enjoy our cars before the wind blows really cold air at us. Maybe even a ride down Sheridan road might be in order. Can't speed, but there are lots of twisties along the way.

PM me if you're coming, and I'll email you directions, or email me directly at larry*at*chester*com.

Sorry I won't be able to make it Larry. I'm going to visit my dad in Michigan (hopefully taking the Porsche). I'm going to be doing some engine work for him. Nothing too complicated, just some outboard motor problems.

I guess I have to believe you really do have a car...even though I likely won't see it until next year. Otherwise, you've gone thru a heck of alot of trouble to make people think you do.

Did you have your targa roof re-skinned?? If so, where at? It looks great! By the way, where are pictures of your seats?

    Jay:

The top is original - 30 years old, and in pretty good condition. The problem with it is that the interior of it is trashed - disintegrated from old age, and it continually rains down debris on Judy's shoulder from the margins of the inner liner. I expect that I will get it redone in a year or two. But it doesn't need it yet.

The seats. yes, I need to get some pix of the interior to post. Hopefully this week. Sorry that I'll miss you. I'm interested in seeing your T as well.

    Hi Larry,

Now you are really pushing the weather envelope. Sorry but I won't be able to make it either. I will be out in Arizona chasing elk around.

With a 2.7 inside that orange beauty of yours, the elk don't stand a chance. Just remember they have Horns, and you only have horn grills.

I know that I am pushing the weather envelope, but after waiting an entire summer, I have the obligation to push as hard as I can before putting him to bed for the winter.

Yes you do. But just think of all the coats of wax you can put on ol' Kermit before you let him out the barn door next Spring.
