    RGruppe in PS....Who drove out...

Well yet another great "Pines to Palms" RGruppe run went down this weekend and I want to express my appreciation to all the RGruppe guyz n gals who support club activities like this. Obviously with out member participation none of this would be happening.

As last year, our "Friends of RGruppe" Dave & Sheila Bohman opened up their splendid Mid Century themed home to us for a day of relaxation & a home cooked brunch upon our arrival and a great cocktail party later that day complete with "LeMans" playing on the 53" hi-def home theatre system !!

During the afternoon as predicted, the Galz formed their own "gruppe" and headed off to go shopping while the guys either went to a car auction being held downtown or went over to the warbirds air museum at the PS airport where we were lucky to see an original P-38 & P-51 taxi out and take off and perform several low level strafing fly by's right over our heads!!! it was fantastic !!!

Then at the cocktail party..after some VERY tasty hors de' ovres (sp?) and RGruppe style libations we got a couple of mini-vans as taxi's and piled in for the short trip to the main drag in downtown PS. We arrived at our recommended haunt for the night, "The Deck" where a party of 25 RGruppe early 911 freaks bacically took over one end of the place!!! Great meals were had by all and a lot of good times too!!!

So in closing I want to again thank not only our great hosts Dave & Sheila
but the RGruppe members who by their participation make all the efforts to organize things like this worthwhile and so much fun to be a part of.

    Thanks everyone....!!!

Now on to the the pix......
