    Where are these cars coming from?

    The guy who has had two early 911s up on ebay this past week has added a third, this one a particularly nice looking '73S. Even the buy-it-now price seems reasonable.

    Is it me or have more nice early cars been showing up for sale recently? Maybe the increasing values have been shaking some cars from the trees. Maybe this is a sign that values have peaked and people are cashing out. In any event, I'm glad I'm not into these cars for their "investment potential."

    I don't know that you could use dealer advertising as any sort of gauge for the investment market. (edit) you might go to off topic here...see my post on cars NOT being investments...

    Too bad we don't know what it sold for. Probably just as well. Many would kick themselves for not buying an S when they were "affordable".
