I'm hoping Schmidt will weigh in here. If I'm not mistaken, he's had it done.

Hi Ray - I have a like new black metal anodized grill from my 71T that I might be convinced to sell. The car is a track car now with a ducktail using the later style plastic grill so I really have no need for the correct grill.

    looking for silver finish

    Hi Bill,

Thanks for the offer. However, I am looking for a silver finish grill. I'm still in the process of changing black to silver finish on all the pieces.
I'll edit my post to eliminate confusion.

Now, if you have a silver finish, "like new".......

Ray, have you dicussed this with Al Reed? I don't know what his anodized finish consists of, it might be clear powder coat. Harvey Wiedman might have an opinion as well. If you absolutely have to have it clear anodized, I might be able to source that for you. I'm in the process of having a bunch of undercar stuff gold zinc'd. They might do it there, or know where to send it.

I got the location of this place from Carl Thompson.

    Paul,
As of this minute, Schmidt is in the air at 36,000 feet over the Atlantic on his way back from our Germany trip. I'll alert him to this thread and see what he knows.

I've seen Paragon Productions recommended for anodizing. The only phone number I have for them is (714) 534-8489 but I have two addresses:

    21120 Dalton Ave
    Torrance, CA 90501

    and

    11352 Trask Avenue
    Suite 103
    Garden Grove, CA 92643

Please let me know how you deal with the rivets.
