    ...it would still be a 1972, in Italy (not a good thing), with a buy it now price of just under $50,000.



    If you are looking to spend €35,000 on a nice early 911S coupe, I would be more than pleased to help you spend your money. There are lots of good cars over here for that kind of cash (they might even have the correct mirror).

    It's now called the R Gruppe look......I guess back in the day everybody wanted a Turbo but now the flavor of the day is the RS......so everybody who is a dedicated follower of fashion has to have an RS......Ole Steve McQueen and James Dean must be laughhing in their graves over this one.....

    If you were referring to my 'not a good thing' comment, you will notice that it was referencing the location and was separated from the year by a comma... a not unusual device - call it old world charm.

    You might read my comment as:

    ...it would still be a 1972 with a buy it now price of just under $50,000.
