    Recaro Sportsitze on eBay Germany

    I saw this pair of Recaros today on German eBay and thought someone might be interested. Very funky upholstery work though!

    That upholstery job looks home made. He is better off selling the seats stripped.

    Aren't the sliders for the early sports seats the same at the standard seats? I have several sets of those.

    Nick,

    No, they aren't the same....BUT I believe that you can modify a set of the standard sliders to work. Note that the stardard sliders are slightly narrower than the Sport seat sliders.

    You would also have to weld a bar to the bottom of each of the bars, and then bend it at 90 degrees at each end, and then drill the holes for height adjustment. Then cut the slider to have the adjustment drop bar fit at the appropriate distances.

    This IS something on my list of things to do.....just havent' dropped it into my fabricators lap just yet.
