Smile New early 911 fan from Bordeaux, France

    Hello,

I am new in the Early 911 world... I just bought an 1970 2.2 T in Albert blue.

As it was an american car before imported in Europe in 1997, I wanted to know if _may be_ your early 911 registry had got info about this car... VIN # 911 010 1614 / engine 610 9095

Totally restored bodywork by a well known Porsche bodyshop in Holland in 2000 with all documentation, it is the main reason I got this car.

So I have a ponctual question about a detail of the car. The front turn signal and rear tail lights are with black trim. I think it is an error, black trims were not for 1970 models but later (1973, I think ...). But Pelican Parts website says that black trim were european 69-73 standard equipment. Any advice welcome !

I thank you very much for your answer

    Hello Isa

Welcome to another European enthusiast. Your car is in one of my favourite colours! The lenses on your 1970 car should be chrome, you can get them from Trende.de. The black trim lenses were fitted to the 73 model year, but are interchangable with all 69-73 911s and were fitted to many cars to update them (they are also cheaper)
