In the same spirit as Paul Schooley's email on members on the east coast, how about members in the south, particularly Texas & vicinity? Maybe there's enough of us to combine with the Early S Registry for a gathering at some point?

Dave, while I'm not an r-gruppe member, I am trying to put together a group of early 911s and Porsche guys from the North Carolina area to go to the Amelia Island Concourse in March. Not sure if you're up for a Curt Eger/Cornpanzer style Ironman haul to the Jacksonville area, but you're welcome to join us.

Dave; I'm in Corpus Christi and a r-gruppe in Texas would be great. I have a couple of cars that fit the bill perfectly, but never joined the rgruppe.Do you do track events? Drop me a line if you get a chance. Thanks Eric

Racemor, thanks for the invite, but I doubt that I'll make it unfortunately (from the pictures, it looks like agreat event).

Eric, I'd love to hear more about your cars. There are a couple of us in Austin with early cars, and several do track events (one local Porschista is making a replica of a ST that is going to be a monster on the track). I've done one event at TWS and one at Motorsport Ranch- that's quite a haul for you, but it sure is a nice track and a cool town to hang out in. Let's stay in touch, I'll let you know when the Austin crew has something planned (I'll pm with contact details).
