    Polizei Photos

    Hello All,

As most of you know by now I am the "Keeper" of Polizei, the 68 Soft window Police car. I have been lucky to find some old pictures of the car in Christophorus magazines of the day. What I am hoping to find are some photos that may have been taken while owned by Porsche during 1968 at the auto shows where it was displayed, and pictures of the car while owned by Bill Yates Porsche from 69 to 96. I would even be happy with pictures from 96 to now. I am trying to build the history of the car.

This has to be one of the most photographed Porsches, so I am hoping some may turn up. Thanks.

    Best,

    Don

Don, If there is any chance the car was used as a pace car in SCCA events contact the local region(s) and ask who the historians are or who may have old copies of the regional newsletters.

I found some photos of the Barbour Roadster this way.

    Good luck.
