    What'cha Think ?

I'm think'n about starting a new Forum, after General, and Technical…

It would be something like Drives, Tours, Gatherings, Racing and Adventures

After reviewing about 5 pages of the General Forum I found less then a handful of threads about driving our cars.

God knows I like to talk about steering wheels and hood crests, maybe more then the next guy
    But...
Perhaps adding a new forum might give us the shove to write about what I believe we should love the most about ours cars… driving them …………. or not

Please let me know what'cha think...

    New Years Cheers,

I dunno Chuck...does the traffic here really warrant it? I mean, would there then be a need for this section, since we have the tech board as well? Just asking...I really don't know.

    Chuck,

Congratulations; that was your 1000th post! I gotta ways to go to catch up I like your idea and think that it would be a good compliment to the nuts n' bolts or steering wheel n' Fuchs wheel postings. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the heck out of that stuff, but tales of driving adventures would be a welcome diversion. I give it two thumbs up!

There's technical and there's general info. What more could you want?

Are "Drives, Tours, Gatherings, Racing and Adventures" not general info?

At Pelican, they have such a high volume that info on drives and such adds to the long list of topics. I don't remember anyone missing a drive, though.

Am I missing something? Chuck, write all you want, like your anual trip up thru CA. If you put it somewhere else, it's just one more I have to check before logging off. As it is, sometimes I forget to check the parts or cars sections; don't need anymore forums.

    You asked....

Considering the number of new posts per week in 'General' per week, I don't feel it is becoming cluttered or too diffuse. Will people feel free to write more in a dedicated new section? Perhaps. Or as Peter Marshall replied in Airplane 1, "Sounds like a lot of Phony Balloney to me". "Phony, perhaps. Balloney, perhaps not."

    Give it a try.

    Milt-

If you use the "New Posts" button on the menu bar, you won't miss anything no matter what section it is in.

I like the idea Chuck, it would encourage others to post stories of Porsche experiances.
Then these would be all in one place for anyone interested.
I enjoyed your recent travel stories.
If you make another section whats to risk, nothing.
