    Early 911 Slot Cars

    Thought some of you might be interested in these. Fly Car model is in the process of releasing a series of early 911 race car models. They're 1/32 scale slot cars designed for home tracks, but they are so detailed they make great displays for your desk, office, mantle, etc. They are releasing 8 cars, including the 1970 Monte Carlo Rally winner. They are collectables, once they make a production run they won't ever produce that livery again.

    The first one just came out this month. Here are some pics.

    Wow! Very nice. I'm a big 1:43 diecast collector. But Fly has been doing some amazingly accurate slots cars the last few years .... must resist temptation to buy these .......

    Well, after some quick research, looks like I'm going to HAVE to buy one of these ..... any manufacturer crazy enough to hang the electric motor behind the rear axle on a 911 slot car simply deserves my money.
