    Last 67 switch question?

    Can anyone please clear up - in pics , up close and personal, the question of what the Fog/Hazard/Aux. Heater switches should look like on a 67 dash?
    I have not found any that are definitive. Johnson-too far, bad contrast, b+w. Long- too far away, bad contrast. etc,etc.
    Some people are selling the fogs with a small red center (I thought that was the aux. heater ) Others small clear centers. Johnson says it was yellow but have not seen ANY like that.
    What should the pins look like on the fog and the heater ? Are those switches interchangable ?
    Chrome bases of course (?)
    Do we need to recruit a force of switch police?
    How about that SWB club ?

    Thanks;

    John

    Those are easier to find than the bloody rubber jobbies that the later cars use.

    Good luck,

    Thanks Sam. Geez - you take no time to rest on your laurels ?
    That hazard switch light is clear (Mine is too), is it supposed to be red ?
    Christ, I'm becoming as bad as the rest of you, worried about little sh=+# details.
    Thanks;

    If it is like my 1969, the hazard switch has a small red lens over the white lens. It likes to fall out.

    That explains that. No doubt those little suckers are made of unobtainium....And how about the pins ? Anyone know if the fog and aux. heater switch are interchangable ?

    you could just go for the simple approach like my '67 as it only has the fog light switch in the center (white light, I think), and just a stud on either side. I guess for Euro/Australia spec. they didn't think the others were really usefull.....
