Smile 1965 #301061 For Sale in Stuttgart

    Hey guys!
    This is an interesting one...

I just had a sneak preview on a 1965 ivory white 911 with a really cool history.
The car looks great, with patina and because of that very original except the G model hood badge.
Were the porsche letters on the decklid bolted through the top surface of the lettering???

    It is for sale...
This is the link to the dealership in Stuttgart.

    http://www.dlsautomobile.de/html/start.htm

If you click on 'Angebote im Detail' and then on 'Butzi Porsche' you will get some basic information on this car with chassis number 301061.

Click the line of fotos for bigger images.

Maybe someone can download them and post them here...??

Huschke von Hanstein and FA Porsche drove and posed with this very car many times.
According to a 6 file two feet wide documentation this car has been used as display and press car from Porsche and the Porsche family from day one...
though sold to private customers later on.
It was in the Porsche museum for 4 years as a loaner by the previous owner and has been used for all the publications/calendars for the 30th anniversary of the 911 by the factory...

    Worth a look, I guess...

I HAVE NO INFORMATION ON THE PRICETAG...

The same dealer also sells a 1965 race car and Huschke von Hansteins 928s.
    Also in 'Angebote im Detail'

    Have fun guys!

I just got off the phone with the dealer, I thought I would ask the price. He has set no price, and doesn't have any idea what its worth, €50K, €100K or €200K. He wants to ensure that as many people are aware that the car is available and thus the market will set the price.

The car has been maintained by Porsche themselves, but never restored, on the agreement that they could use it whenever they needed it for shows, calenders, photo opportunities. It has 500 pages of documentation, dozens of magazine articles, pictures with Ferry Porsche. It is original down to the brake pads.
