July North meets South, 3 days, driving tours, 2 track days, BBQ parties and more..

    Hey guys,
Here is a heads up on an interesting concept early in the planning stages.
Basically R Gruppe members Jack Olsen, Dave (TRE motor sports), Chuck (Elephant racing) and Hayden (WEVO) are discussing a Northern Ca track event, driving tour and BBQ party.
This is mostly a group of 911 drivers from the Pelican board.
    See this thread.

The possibility of track time at Sears and Thunderhill in one 3 day weekend along with a day off wine country driving tour and afternoon evening BBQ/gatherings might interest you too.
    Best regards,

To repeat my pelican post...a date conflict. R Gruppe has a parking corral set-up @ Portland International Raceway for the historic races on the same weekend. Y'all have fun....sounds great.

Thanks Paul, hopefully those selecting the N/S date will consider the Portland event and find date that does not conflict.
    regards,

PS congrats on the new GT3, fun car, drive the wheels off it!

I can only wish on the GT3...that one belongs to Jean Ellis. He's in the hunt for an early S coupe to add to the stable. But...he's yet to propose a straight across swap. I wonder why? (edit) Absolutely my date goof! The Portland Historics are the weekend before Jack's dates. Hmmm, my car definitely not a track machine. But maybe I can hitch a ride..or even drive down & watch?
