Thumbs up LA All Euro Swap

Me, Milt, and Roger Grago have organized the cruise in and parking for Bob Campbell's ‘L.A. All Euro Swap’ on Sun. the 6th of Feb. at the Long Beach Veteran's Stadium. http://www.laalleuro.com/

The gathering point will be a few blocks away from the event at the 24hr Denny’s at 2860 Bellflower Blvd. Long Beach, CA 90815 http://clients.mapquest.com/dennys/...-429-2000,97111

The gathering time will start about 5:30am… We’ll try to head for the event about 6:00am.

Coffee and or breakfast will be on your own.

If we go in together we’ll get to park together… There will still be the $15.00 preferred parking charge at the gate.

As before, we will be generating PARKING PASSES for both the Early 911S Registry and R-Gruppe

Please send me cmiller14@socal.rr.com (S-Registry) OR Roger rgrago@cox.net (R-Gruppe) an e-mail for attendance, and after checking your membership in your respective club, we will send you back your parking pass.

There will be an opportunity to join the S-Registry at the Lit Fair on Sat. to be able to park with us on Sun.

As before, the pass will have both clubs logos AND space for interesting details about your car… Please fill this space out as well… we all love to read all the cool details.

Please get back to me or Roger as soon as you can…

    Cheers,
    Chuck Miller

    Hey you local guys WHATSUP???

I've had one response so far... and THAT was from someone coming down from Northern CA.

If you're thinking about going to Bob Campbell's event on Sun...
And you're a member of our club...
And if you want to park together...

    GET BACK TO ME !!!

KZ I'm sure yours would not be the only Type 181 (Thing) at the show. It is open to all Euro cars. Euro show promotion is happening on the VW sites too.
They might have you park it in the VW section?

Slap an R Gruppe sticker on it and say it's an early heavily modified rally car. It's not for me to say, but it sure seems like you could come to Denny's and hang out, drive over to Vet's Stadium and proceed to another "preferred parking" spot right near the Early/Gruppe.

I'd like to see a Thing. One doesn't see those that often any more. Last one around here was owned by a guy named Ralph Schafer, had a 2135 in it and ran like a scalded ape. It was used as a prerunner for the Baja races, but it was a very clean and straight car.
