    '67 luggage and engine comp

    Not having the right reading materials and having seen just as many shots with body coloured compartments as well black coloured compartments I m a bit confused now as to what the original colour was of both compartments on 67 cars. I thought it was black but I am not that sure anymore.......

    All SWB 911 models had factory black engine and trunk compartments. If I recall corectly, Porsche only started painting these areas the same color as the rest of the car starting with the 1973 model year.

    Thanks for the info. I'm doing a 67 right now and was about to ask the same question. I'll have the trunks done in black. Thanks.
