    Ignition Light / Dashboard Lights

    Ive just bought a 1969T (RS replica) and I think the ignition (alternator) light may be faulty and i suspect I also have charging problem.

    Firstly, should a big red light come on when I turn on the ignition. If so where is it ??

    Is it easily disconnected if you were trying to hide a problem when selling ? I've got a light blue wire that comes off the distributor loom that is clearly diconnected at a spade connector plug and socket. But Im reluctant just to plug it back in ???

    Ive tested the voltage at the battery with the car running and it is constantlty at about 12 volts and I suspect not charging.

    Can anyone help, maybe with pics of the dashboard?

    Best case does anyone have a PDF of the owners manual ???
