    What looks better?

    Dear all,

Your opinion is very much welcomed, because I am still not sure. The original style Fuchs rims or the painted black ones on a RS? The rear car is mine and after spotting a sister car in LeMans last year, it got me thinking. What do you guys think.

The black wheels make the car look lower.

But the polished Fuchs bring out the style of the wheel more and seem to look "original".

No doubt the "wheel Police" will place comments.

    A matter of taste really...

    RsexS,
it's a real toss-up with that color...I'd lean towards the original-style finish myself.

    Great picture though!!!

    cheers

I would have both sets, that is a hard one, but the original seems to work better for me.

Strictly a taste thing...that said, now I can say that I usually prefer the exposed paddle design...sans polish.

Another vote for the original style, sans polish.

    no no no

I think you should sell both cars to me, yes good plan.

... but okay, hands down original look complements the other bright-work on the car.

I vote no black as long as you are not blacking out other chrome etc....

Dude, the "original finish" for an RS (look) car is the black centers without anodized spokes. They could also be "original" blue, green, or red as stock colors to match the graphics. The original "traditional" finish Fuchs are on the lead car.

I'd say that if you go to the extent of cloning an RS look, do it with the wheels too....unless of course it's an R Gruppe car, then it's pretty much open to ANYTHING!!!
