    Reverting from carbs to MFI

I haven't posted here in a long time, but thought you folks might like this winter's project. RS911T is being reverted to MFI some 30 years after it was converted to Webers. It may not be entirely proper in its various details, but it a Porsche 2.8S / MFI engine.

Bravo Greg! Saw your thread on the other board. If I could make a suggestion? The Orange "blaster" coil by MSD is designed to operate only in an upright position. According to Warren Hall, the black "high vibration" MSD coil is compatable with Bosch CD units or MSD, and is "potted" in a manner that allows it to be mounted in any position. The "high vibration" coil carried the MSD part number 8202. I'm going from memory on the part number, so you may want to double check...but remember that it's the black "high vibration" coil from MSD for mounting in the factory location...
