    1972 dash: vents or not?

Hi all, I've got this nice, good looking dash in my 1972 car, but it has vents in the centre front and no central speaker. I assume this cannot be the or a correct dash for a 1972??

Your assumption is correct. You should have no ceter vent and a removable speaker grille.

    pwd72s,

You are not telling me that you have an all-original 72' S !?!?!?!?!? If so, how many miles? I have never seen pictures showing a more original and clean early 911! The only other extremely early 911 that i have seen pictures of or seen of is Jens' silver T with like 3,000 miles or something like that. Your car is like brand new!

If those center vents blow air, you've got some cut sheetmetal behind them

Paul, better put some Armour All on that thing if you really expect $100k!
