    COA, Competition kit, Comfort kit

Does any one know what a "competition kit" and a "comfort kit" refers to on a COA listed under optional equipment. The car is a 70S with sunroof, power windows.

    Thanks

Comfort kit is 14" wheels and Boge Hydropneumatic shocks for a softer ride. Most of these type shocks have been replaced with std shocks over the years.

Not sure about competition kit? Doesn't sound like these options should go together??? Perhaps there's a story behind this?

No mention of the "Competition kit" option in that brochure, however.

    Wanna sell the car?!

ps. I'll scan the details of the competition kits and post them. The info is in the "Vehicles Used for Sports Purposes" publication # W351e.

Jens...any chance you could scan the whole dang book and zip it up into something we could share easily? I have the capability but not the book.

Curious if the car has any of the Competition kit pieces. It is odd that the car was also built with the softer suspension. Kind of a conflict along with the other options. then again I guess you could order anything. Jens, The printed pages you posted are for the SWB cars.

    Best,

Thanks very much Jens, very interesting read, the only thing that my car originally came with that was on the list were the Dunlop Sp Sport Super tires size 185/70/VR15. The car has Sport seats which I don't think are classified as "competition Recaro seats", so it is still a puzzle to me as the "competition kits" that were mentioned were a package comprised of many items. I think I have the comfort kit figured out, electric windows and 2 stage heated rear window. The car has all the usual "S" stuff, Koni's, alloy front calipers, front/rear bars, deep 6 wheels, etc.
