Looking for comments from the experts. What is wrong or right with this car?

IMHO the description is very sketchy. If you decide to pursue, ask lots of detailed questions (areas of rust, compression #s, condition of the interior, suspension) what's broken, what doesn't work. If you get satisfactory answers, then get a PPI. If all that checks out, you will have enough for the BB members to form an opinion on value, costs to get it up to some type of standard, and to ultimately spare you from buying the dreaded 'fright pig'

Whoever brought this car did alright even just going by the ad, 4.5 Fuchs set plus deep 6 set $4.000.00 ,twin plug Dist. $2.500.00 , All the trim seems to be on car, right doors, deck grill etc. nice option rear window wipe. Seller did not do to bad,but the way things are going I would rather have been the buyer, of course an in person look is mandatory for me to part with money.

sunroof also, I missed that sotrik, I am with you on this, remember that 1966 911 that sold on E-bay a couple of months ago alot of people bad mouthed it and thought the buyer was crazey for paying $14.000.00 then he changed his mine and sold it again at no loss after a couple of weeks? This is an 'S' with nice appointments and some highly sought after extras, The best person to buy from is an "expert" who is not abreast with the times. I heard that from a guy who sold his split window Corvette for triple his money he was thrilled till he bragged to his friends and they infomed him that was still half of todays market it was promtly sold buy the new buyer.

There is a pretty informative thread on this car on the cars for sale board.

BTW its still for sale. Apparently the auction winner backed out immediately.
