    Radio Needed

While we're on this thread, I need a Blaupunkt for my '69S. Bought one from a '70 BMW 2002 but it doesn't fit. Anyone have one?

    Thanks

    becker europa

I need a mono. I am getting rid of the aftermarket junk and just going with the radio and the speaker in the dash, a little more classic look. Thanks.

I have a mono Europa with mounting plate I'll sell for $125 + ship. I recently removed it to install a Frankfurt, works fine but the dial light would sometimes not come on (I suspect the bulb) I'll take some pics tomorrow.

    PM me if interested.

I just bought a stereo Becker Europa II. It is in flawless shape and am really happy with it. It has the head unit and the separate stereo amplifier box, which is a minor bummer. I really wanted to use it via the one speaker in the dash. Anybody know how to wire it up mono?

Can you put the balance all the way to one side and wire only that channel to the center speaker?

Nope; that merely mutes the other channel, which in stereo applications might mute some of the signal information. The goal is unite the disparate channels.
