    Bought a T

After looking to buy one of these early 911:s for years now I finally bit the bullet and bought a 71 T advertised on this board. The car is still in New Jersey waiting to be transported to Gothenburg.
This ebay thing is quite amazing, the fact that you can buy a car (almost on impulse) half a world away that you essentially know very little about is of course very dangerous when it comes to these cars. Still, Jim seems like a nice and knowledgable guy so I´m not too worried.
I think you can expect the trend of cars leaving the US to continue, the Dollar doesn´t seem to recover anytime soon and I feel, at least in Sweden, that there are a real shortage of these early cars, it is truly like someone on this board said "they are not making any new ones".

    No pictures?

From the description, it sounds like a beautiful car. I'm sure it will catch some attention in Sweden (just keep the salt off of it in the winter).

Well, I won´t be tailgating any salt trucks in the near future as this will be a fair weather car and nothing else . I´m going to start looking för a 2.7 case though as I believe these cars need a bit more HP than 125. I will eventually post some pictures, only really have detail pictures now.
