Here are a few pictures for this weekend's Amelia Island concourse. There was a nice mix of the expected Rolls, Bentley, Duesenburg crowd with the Porsche, Alfa, Ferrari, sports/racing car crowd.

What? A German video about me and my car - Huh? The website for my two-car garage
There was also a few road tours to pick from that were held on Friday. It was really cool to be on the road with cars like the Carrera GT, blower Bentley, Guigaro's Aztek, a Delahaye, Rolls Royce shooting brake, among other cars so specialized I could not even begin to name. Take a look at the r-gruppe member Gary Gandy's sweet white 911, also at the tour starting point.

That last one in the previous post was my view on the ferry ride over to Mayport. I don't think there is much chance of being on a ferry in the Intracoastal Waterway with a Carrera GT again anytime soon. Part of the Porsche tour included a ride with Hurley Haywood in a CGT doing some VERY high speed runs at the naval base on one of the runways. I, unfortuatley, missed my ride when the hydraulics for the rear wing failed and they had to do the rest of the rides in his 997. Also in these picks you'll see the gold '73.5 911T that sold at the RM auction for $20k. Good for the seller... I don't think I would have paid that price though.
Bobby Allison was the honoree, they had an IROC car there along with a nice Datsun 510 he drove in the 2.5 class of TransAm. The last shot here is a look at the open back of Joe Buzzetta's 907 and its flat 8.

One more pic of the 907, interior this time. I liked that wooden knob.
Lastly, here are some pics of the '53 550 coupe from the Collier Collection. My pick for the people's choice award - just awesome. I overheard Jerry Seinfeld say that he had a chance to buy this car. I think I would have had to take that chance!
