    65 911 on ebay

    Sorry for the repost. Has anyone seen first hand the 65 911 on ebay?

    I talked to the guy about it, seemed sort of odd. Never did look at the car, even though its not that far away.

    The pictures aren't all that good, but it looks like a 1966 model year 911, not a 1965. Chassis # 303159 would probably have been built around the time of the new year.

    66 model

    I thought it was also a 66 model. The color code is 6604 a light Ivory, but in 65 they used the same code as the 356's which should have been 6404. But I could be wrong altogether.

    I did not quite understand the previous comment about talking to owner, What did the owner say exactly about the car?

    Actually the owner did not say a great deal. This was about a month or two ago, the last time it was on auction. If I remember correctly the price was 20k.
