I feel like a fool... Hella 118 fogs

Gosh guys, you know those "unobtainium" through the grill USA model fog lights? Well, it may be tough to get the cut down grilles, in metal, chromed. The mounting brackets and the wiring harness may also be a problem. Yep..problems. But I did learn something today about the lights themselves. Hella still makes them, as "reverse lights". Wanna know more? Want a set of these "unobtanim" lights? Contact this guy...

(EDIT) I may be blowing an "insider secret" here...

I posted something a long time ago saying they looked like the reverse lights on VW Type 3s; guess I was right!

I posted Daniel's email...here's his website, full of technical tidbits regarding lighting in general. I had originally contacted him looking for bulbs for my factory installed Hellas...he has them, matching the original 35 watts. That led to me mentioning I'd bought a spare set from Germany on ebay but the lenses were different...he then told me that Hella still makes them...I gave him the registry website, hopefully he'll post here from time to time. I don't know Daniel's price on these "fogs", but he said he could definitely knock the German ebay price in the tank..

To those interested, Daniel's part number for the bulbs for these lights is: 49072, by NARVA. When I talked to him, he mentioned he'd be "away" for a few days...but if you emailed, he'll eventually get back to you...I hope.
