    A friend of mine just sent me this cartoon of me driving my '67S in an autox. The little gold dolphin I'm holding out the window has a "special" meaning in our club that is a whole 'nuther story in itself...

    As I recall, the cartoon 'distorted' car figures were first done by Ed 'Big Dady' Roth and by Stanley Mouse (of Grateful Dead and Steve Miller Band fame for album covers & posters).

    These often had a hairy creature driving with red eyes, big teeth and a hairy hand yanking on a huge shift knob. In other words, a typical teenager...
