917 shift knob suits my car perfectly

I wonder how many people who see the car will understand the significance of the shift knob. I got it from Mark Cross who I found on Pelican Parts making these knobs. All I can say is AWESOME! He really does nice work. I always hated my stock plastic 930 shift knob but couldn't think of anything that was right. This 917 replica shift knob (even the right size) not only feels great when shifting, but I love the looks.

    Mark's email is macross860@columbus.rr.com

Looks Great Paul. I am ordering one for my Gulf Blue Club Sport. Definitely the right knob for that car. I am not sure on the size as far as the smaller 917 version or the larger 911 size. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I opted for the smaller 917 style just because I thought if it was the right size and I closed my eyes, and I cranked up the movie Le Mans I would be driving down the Mulsanne (sp?) straight in a 917. Also, I think it feels better in the hand. Just personal preference.
