    Classic 911s at Essen Show

    Thoiught you might be interested in some P-cars at the Techno Classica Show two weeks ago. The white 73 RS is one of the ex-works East African Safari Rally cars which was recovered from Kenya two years ago and rebuilt (but not over-restored…) to original spec. And check out the original factory 356 Carrera GS/GT carburettor tuning kit – yours for 3800 Euros... Nice keepsake!

    I'm loving the horn grille on the top car...and I bet they saved over 100 grams by drilling the door handles!

    Thanks for the photos! I never miss that show, but I had to be at a wedding in Portland Oregon instead. Next year.........

    Hey Chuck,

    buddy of mine just returned from Germany and he spent a day at the show and said he needed 3 to see it all ! I cant wait to see his pictures and will post any good ones he has.

    I was lucky enough to visit Autofarm in the UK last week and was plannning to share the expereince with the board including various pics I took. What a nice bunch of guys they are out there too ! very into early Porsches ! and the cars they have tucked away !

    What especially struck were the prices asked in Germany. Over 25k Euro for a 1971 T, that wasn't even completely original. It occured to me that so little cars are close to original, even at Essen
