    Lucas Fog Lights

ive been thinking about fog lights for my '71 S recently and remembered that the previous owner gave me some in a box of spare parts. they are lucas and mounted horizontaly to the front bumper guards (or as porsche calls them "buffers")
are these original? from the factory? installed here possibly by the dealer?
also, how do these bumper guards mount? im assuming there would be 2 bolts for each that go through the bumper but my bumper doesnt have any holes for the bolts.
it appears my car did have fogs at one time based on the wireing at the fuse block so im assuming these were the ones but if they cant mount to the bumper...... do i not have the original/correct bumper?
anyways..... are a pair of lucas fogs with bumper guards sought after..... pricey?

John, IMHO, Porsche would NEVER had contracted anything with Lucas...especially during the early days. Ever hear of World War II?

If there aren't holes visible (should be 1 thru the rubber deco strip and 1 below it), the PO probably replaced the bumper. The lights aren't factory, but look to be 'period correct' and would probably look great.

With those lenses, they are certainly not Fog lights. probably just extra driving lights of the period and being Lucas, not very effective.

Kind of a novel treatment, drilled into the sides of the bumperettes. It would certainly make your car a standout and since it was most likely done "in the day", it would be "period correct" (at least as a form of customization for the period). My 2 cents.
