    Ebay Scam 2.7RS Engine

I hope I'm wrong, but there is something not right about HockeyMom318 selling a Porsche RS 2.7 L rebuilt engine for no reserve.

Especially when "Hockeymom" last used her id in 2000, and the seller just bought 3 pieces of junk for under $10 each to "freshen up" his profile with positive feedback.

At least he is honest enough to tell you he won't charge you for shipping!!
Hope no one on this board is the winning bidder.

Any way to report suspicious activity to e-bay, and would they even do anything?

I sent a note to ebay through their system, not that I expect them to do anything

Private auction of course so theres no way to warn the bidders

I recently reported to ebay about shill bidding on an item I bought and they acted immediately and suspended both seller and shill bidder accounts. And the seller had 128 feedback and had been active for 3 years.

It took a little searching on ebay to get to the form to report it but it did work and made me feel the system does work.

Ebay needs to protect its image so go ahead and let 'em know what you suspect. They seem to take this stuff pretty seriously.

    RS Eng

FWIW, I also asked for the eng serial #, what was repaired, & location when it was posted by 72targa and did not receive a reply from "hockeymom318".

Noah posted that "hockeymom318" bid on his RSR wheels (but did not win, fortunately).
