Well, the 356 is done. I know this is off topic, but my dad is an S Registry member and this is the General Info section, so I hope the admin's will let the thread slide.

I've always considered the glass to be half full...that is until I reached middle age and realized that it is actually half empty.
Is "Frank" the car? If so, it looks like Frank kicks a$$!
Yes, Frank is the car's name.
It's full name is Frank N. Stein ... if you saw the restoration and all of the fabrication you'd understand.

Gary Emory once told me what those 911 engines with 2 cyl. removed sell for. The top of the line? Pretty close to double what Sweet Old Bruce says an "excellent" early 911S is worth. Frank N. Stein? More than "way awesome"..

OMFG. My 2nd dream behind owning an early S is doing exactly that to a '59 356. Now that I have the S, perhaps I need to start planning...

I would like to congratulate Tony on the birth of his new baby Frank. I have been fortunate enough to see almost every phase of this wild child's development, and I can only say that early on...Frank earned his name. Tony is one of the good guys, the gurus and the goombas. A straight shooter who is always there for the early cars and their owners. He's built a bunch of the RGrupper's engines (mine included), and to see him so excited about his new outlaw has been a real, sweeeeeeet pleasure.
And Marco...once again...well done with the pix and spreading the MYTH OF FRANK!
