    My trip to Monterey

    Haven't had much time to post lately...

    These are some of the pics I took go'n up to, and at Monterey for the 5th annual RGruppe North meets South event 'Monterey Treffen 2005'

    Most know that the drive up and back are some of the biggest highlights for me.

    This time incorporating a new twist in the mix from my usual way up. I took HWY 5 to Frazier Park and went West to Cuddy Valley Rd., west to Potrero HWY to the top and then down hill Northwest on Cerro Noroeste Rd. all the way to HWY 33... I had off and on rain for half the trip that Thurs..... and even incountered snow on the road at the top of Farzier Park.... but OH WHAT'A DRIVE...

    After about 90 fast miles North on HYW 33 to Coalinga headed West on 198 over the pass, through Priest Valley and out at the 101 HWY. North for about 20 miles to Greenfield and G16/Carmel Valley Road...one of the best roads in the state...

    G16 starts off pretty innocuous as it heads West through the Arroyo Seco... Oh but then...

    Chuck,

    Can I hire your services at Ventura please (as photographer!)? Knowing me, I'll FORGET to take enough decent pics and will get shot on my return by Mike, Mum and the kids !

    BTW, I sent you an email...

    Cheers,

    Be careful Lisa - I wonder if it would be scarier to be a passenger in Chucks car while he was taking pics - or when he put the camera down !

    Lisa;

    I only meant, when he put the camera - and then his FOOT down.
    I'm sure our illustrious leader is both a perfect gentleman - and hell on wheels !
