My vote is Silver for the most desirable and next would be any of the 'safety colors', like Signal Orange, Signal Yellow and Signal/Emerald/Viper Green. All those colors seem to really excite buyers the most IMHO.

I think that it's clear that blutorange (a/k/a tangerine) was the best , followed by light ivory and silver.

It's hard to choose, when the choices don't exactly match the options.

Red is a geat color for a sports car - there are just so many red 911s already.

And the other thing is the "cop-attractant factor"

Obviously, Gemini Blue and Gulf Blue are the very best 911 colors... Obviously...

I don't know how many times I heard the story about the woman who had her 911 custom painted the same shade as her nail polish. Any photos?

My favorite combination for an early 911 (my definition of "early" is earler than most people's) is Slate Gray with red leather--I don't see that on the list, either.

Red/Orange need to be separate. My car is red and I agree: I hated red until I bought a red 911. Still, if I ever repaint it, it's going back to its factory green finish (exact shade unknown until kardex arrives).

    Tangerine Orange

Tangerine Orange is my choice. But I'm biased after living with my car for 12 years.

Well, I got involved in a "Arrest me Green" a couple of weeks ago. But skated a 93 in a 55 down to "not wearing a seatbelt." I was the only one of 8 Pcars on the run that got a ticket. Talk to me about the cop attractant factor of RED??? The Red boxster got a smile and a wave. I got the ticket!!!

And, Excuse me Paul, but there is a world of difference between Viper and Kelly Green. Gimme Viper.

And I agree with the crowd. Orange and Red don't belong together. Too too many reds. yes, too many.
