    SRegistry Breakfast Recommendations?

Just wondering if there are some favorite places around L.A. or O.C. that anyone can recommend for a low key, no RSVP SRegistry breakfast? Maybe check out cars @ around 8/8:30? maybe eat @9?

    Crystal Cove Every Saturday

One possibility is the informal, all marques gathering every Saturday morning at the Crystal Cove shopping canter on PCH between Newport Beach and Laguna Beach.

There are usually at least several vintage Porsche guys there, and more if one of us organizes something.

The parking lot opens at 7am and 830 or so is usually a good time to have breakfast. There's a place to eat right there and several other good choices in either Newport or Laguna.

    new place to try

here is a new place that wants the people from Crystal Cove to come there for breakfast..On the channel, overlooking $$$$homes and $$boats.

Big parking lot, though you can self-park. Just tell the valet, they know how we can be with NOT letting valets park our cars

A little pricey, about $6.00 for the build your Bloody Mary, and about $6.00 for one of the best breakfast burritos around.

Kent Moore was leaving as I was arriving, he was RAVING about it.

    Keep this place in mind.

OC sounds like a good start for a breakfast rotation around the area. Why don't you guys down there set up a date for eating, then whoever shows up - shows up.

You can make it interesting. Free breakfast for the one who drives the furthest just to eat. Maybe Tabs will join you from his desert location.

There's a great place in Seal Beach called River's End Cafe. The parking is very big and it is a pay lot. $2, but the restaurant knocks a buck off your check with the stub. You eat on a deck right on the beach. Mornings are great, no wind, no sand. And, it's not that crowded for what it is. There will be a wait, for sure any time after 8AM.

Another place I hosted a 914 breakfast was Schooner or Later at the Long Beach Marina (not downtown). Free parking and off to one side is not used too much. Schooner has excellent food. River's is just good, not outstanding. Both are very pictureesque, with Schonner being quite upscale since it's next door to Stan Miller Yachts and the big ones sit in the water right there. Prices are no more than a Mimi's or Appleby's. Pretty good wait after 8AM, but hey, where isn't it if the food is decent?

Neither one is anywhere near an interesting road. Both are freeway friendly at about 2-3miles off the 405.
