Who can tell me how to reach Nick Faure in England??

I am trying to reconstruct the ownership history of my recently acquired Carrera RS (chassis # 9113600197) and I just obtained a valuable clue that it may have passed through Nick's hands at one time or another.

Can somebody please PM me his email address or phone #. Thanks to all.

Can't help you out with Nick's details but if the car was in the UK there's a fair chance that it will be on the PCGB register. Contact Phil Johnson who runs the Early 911 registry (early_911@hotmail.com). He should be able to help. You could also post on www.ddk-online.com there's a lot of guys on that site who know a lot of the early cars that have been around/through the UK.

Keith, I don't know Nick's email address , but is it really m.faure@?

Mark Waring of World Wide Classics (Mark_Waring@massuk.co.uk) has a pretty good database of early 911s that he got directly from the factory. Also try Josh Sadler at Autofarm, they have their own database of RSs.

Is this the car? I found this picture in my own file of RS images

Rob - I know that your car was offered for sale by Autofarm in May 1990 so it would be worth contacting Josh (if you haven't already done so).

At that time it was still with its original (German) owner & had covered approx 78,000 kms from new. Price was £80,000 ($146,000 at today's exchange rate).

Incidentally, did you manage to get a fusebox cover ? If not I have a spare one but it is not in concours condition.

Still looking for Nick Faure's email address! KS Carrera's effort was most appreciated, but alas that email address doesn't work.

Anybody else out there have it kicking around?
