    Sport Seats

I'm looking for opinons regarding these seats that were in a car that I purchased.
I thought that one was a Recaro 911R type dealer accessory (early 70's) and the other a 911RS. Now I'm not sure.

    Thoughts?

Recaro sold both of these style seats in the aftermarket, as these two seats have the Recaro name plate on them thay did not come as optional factory equiptment with any porsche, rather I'd say they were purchased and installed at some later time by someone that owned the car, the thumb screw seat is the same style as what was supplied as a factory light weight seat with 73 Carrera RS's the other is the same as a standard fiberglass bucket seat also avalible as an option at that time

Don't know if they are original but they are great seats. I am interested in them if you decide your not putting them back in.

SWBSAM so... Except for the covers what's the difference between these seats and factory options?
Note: My other aftermarket Recaro seats don't have Porsche headrests like these do.

I've had some of these bucket seats from the aftermarket, and they did have the Porsche head rest. I've also had a few of the reclining "normal sport seats" from the aftermarket, and they also had the Porsche headrests.

Most that I have seen/had were vinyl with cord inserts.

as far as I can tell in the models of seats that Recaro made for Porsche and also sold on the aftermarket the only difference was the fabrics they used to cover them and the Recaro name plates other then that it's the same basic seat.
