    cosley,

So sorry to hear about this theft... IT MAKES ME NUTS!!!!!

That is a GREAT decription, and THIS is a great place to put it on... Pelican as well...

Lessen the damn odds for the bad guys!!!

    THIS STRATGY WORKS!!!!!

The 18 years I had my '67 bug it was stolen twice ... one of the times it was recovered by 'word-of-mouth'... I told EVERYONE I knew to tell EVERYONE they knew... a friend spotted it 5 days later.

The faster you get the out the word and the more eyes looking, the better the odds.

Best of luck to your friend.

P.S - Have your friend contact EASY Parts, and Parts Haven in the Bay area so they can put the decription on the used parts 'wire'

    Cosley,
Posting a picture would be even better. Hard to believe that a car as unique as this could be driven much on the west coast for more than a few days without someone from this borad or the pelican board spotting it.

Unfortunately there are no pictures of the completed car. It had only been on the road a few days before being stolen. I would think it went into someone's garage or an enclosed trailer pretty quick.

It's likely in pieces by now being prepared for e-bay sale. I don't suppose you know how it was pinched?
