    Engine Bay Decals

    What are the proper original factory decals for the engine bay of a 70 911?
    What is their proper placement?

    Tweeks Porsche Parts sells a complete decal set and has a photo in their printed catalog, butI don't think they show it on their web site.

    Real originals for 1970 would have had a solid black line at the outside of the decal. Later versions or repros had a part number 901.xxx within the black line and the foil is a different shade of gold. I thought all of mine were original but I guess one was a replacement as it has the part number within the line. A 1970 (at least in US) should have 6 decals - every indentation is filled in with a sticker, unlike later years. An earlier thread with some discussion and pictures -
