    Hershey Parade Photos

We had an wonderful time of immersion into early cars, mid-year cars, and current cars (especially the Ruf cars). We weren't registered in the Parade (didn't intend to), we had plenty of activities on our own. A dear friend made reservations for us at the Hotel Hershey, so we just had to step out onto the lawn to get to the concours on the grounds.

The company was just great. Great old friends, and great new friends. This is just a start-

Motoring down from Vermont this yellow GT3 joined us. Holy crap, what a nice car. I think we kind of intended a nice sedate cruise...at 130! WTF?!

Great to see Don. He brought a couple of other toys along too. More pics to follow.

An Abarth Carrera (356). It's really a Zagato design and build, but they used Abarth as a cover because of Zagato's consulting involvement with some of Porsche's competitors of the time. Zagato just wanted to stay discrete and not lose any customers.

That's George, no doubt discovering anomalies in the restoration that the factory did on this car.

Hey Jens, thanks for posting the pics. Good to meet you, George, Eade and the others last weekend. Was your trip back home as fast as the trip to Hershey?

Some people will recognize Mr Ingram's RS. Nice car. Damn near perfect.

(well, except for the Super Secret Steering Wheel Police's observations... gawd save us)

Great to see you too Tom. I wish that the bar in the hotel was a little quieter so that conversation was easier, but it was still lots of fun. I would liked to have found out more about your friend's 3.4. That sounded like a nice motor.

No, the trip back was fast, but I didn't have Rennman egging me on, so it wasn't FAST fast.

    Here's Joe's T in Signal Orange. Joe's a heck of a nice guy-
