Thumbs up R Gruppe & Early 911S Registry going to Dana Point

    Hello all,

The R Gruppe and Early 911S Registry has been invited to display our cars at the 19th Annual Porsche 356 Club Dana Point Concours d'Elegance this next Sunday 10 July.
We are going to meet at 7:00 am to caravan in together at the Denny's parking lot in San Juan Capistrano. Hwy 5 South to San Juan Capistrano, exit Ortega Hwy / Hwy 74, go left or East over the freeway on Ortega /74. Denny's is just down about 50 yards on the right. We will leave Denny's at 7:30 SHARP! Dana Point is only about 10 minutes from the Denny's.
If you would like to park on the grass with us you MUST go in with us as a group. Cost is $20.00 per car.
This is a beautiful location and The Laguna Cliffs Marriott, which over looks the Concours area has a great Sunday Brunch or bring picnic.
Hope you can join us for this fantastic event. See you next Sunday!

    All the best!
    Roger Grago

Before anybody asks, the $20 per car is being paid to the 356 Registry to help cover their costs of providing this outstanding event - and they still lose money on it! So no crybabies asking what the $20 gets you!!!!

P.S. Your $20 will however get you a nice goodie bag from the show hosts!

You Socal guys have all the fun. Rob was at Emory's campout last weekend, and now this? Oh well...guess I have to content myself with the historics @ PIR...cheering on the outlaws. Rob? Cindy & I fell in love with your dad...tell him I'm still mulling over his offer involving a Lincoln Town car, will ya?

    LA Caravan

Ok, I've had a couple of replies from LA/Valley etc guys who wanna meet up and make the drive to the Ortega Hwy meeting place.

Lars, Boxster03. I'm gonna drive the RS, and have a fellow enthusiast drive the Club Sport. For those that want to meet:

On the NW Corner of SM Blvd and Beloit there's a Chevron Station. IF you're heading SOUTH on the 405 and get OFF at Santa Monica, you'll basically be ON Beloit, and the station on your right. I'll be there at 6:15 AM and we'll roll SHARPLY! See you there, or see you in Dana Point! Let me know if you're gonna be there....

I'd love to attend and check out all the cars, but the 10th is also the date for a PCA-SDR Zone 8 autox at Qualcomm stadium, and I must continue my domination of the hordes of waterpumping 944s in G-Stock class with my '67S. Have fun you guys, and maybe next time...
