It's a nice one Stacy, not a Roger Penske Porsche frame, but nice enough.

Sorry the Penske Porsche frame is not for sale. In fact, I gave it to my very good friend who's VERY original '73 was delivered to Roger Penske Porsche. It is almost certain that the car was delivered with such a frame.

The guy on Pelican links to the auction, so I suppose that is his too. Well, I'm no expert, but those on Pelican don't look anything but new repros to me. I know where there is a real one. I tried for it, but it is in a display case and I guess that's where it will stay. but, if I had to compare, I know where to go.

Yes, I realize that during the course of the Polak business that different styles/makers may have been used. If I had to pin that down, I would venture over to Carl Thompson's and ask him. He probably ordered them in the first place.

Now, the one for now 300 looks OK to me, but what do I know?

    Where was the dealership when?

What year did he leave Manhattan beach for Hermosa beach? More to the point, what would a '73 car have had?

He was located on PCH in Hermosa in '68 at least. I used to live right behind the dealership then.

I think it was on the corner of 1st Street & PCH.
