    How much does it weigh???

    All,
Does anyone know, right off hand, what the actual weight of a carb'd 2.0 engine, along with the 901 trans (less axles) is??

I'm looking at buying one of those cheap ATV jacks, to facilitate drivetrain removal/installation. These ATV jacks look like a good safe way to "go solo" when yanking this stuff out of the car. They have a load rating of 1500lbs...Just want to make sure I'm not pushing my luck here - I realize the drivetrain doesn't weigh no stinkin 1500lbs, but an approximate weight figure will be real nice to have. fyi: I usually jack the car up level to sit on four stands, vs simply raising the backend...

    Anyone?

Thanks for the help...As always, I appreciate the time.
    Happy 4th of July

Engine weight for 2.0L 911T (complete but without oil) = 184kg (~405 lbs)

    Transmission weight for 2.0L 911T (without oil) = 50kg (~110 lbs)

    Postscript...

I found that the generic ATV jack wouldn't allow me to position it properly beneath the running gear. The handle (at least on the unit I looked at) does not crank down to the floor... So, I ended up buying an "ATV lift" adaptor kit for my long-reach shop jack. I found the kit (by accident) at the local Pimp Boys. This looks like a much tidier solution. Cheap, too. 40 clams.

    Guys,
Does the engine weight include or not include heater boxes and exhaust? Does the engine weight include the mounting bar and brackets at the rear of the engine? Is the weight with or without clutch and pressure plate?

How bout the starter? Is that included in the trans weight?

Just some of the questions that comes to mind when reading the spec book.
