When myself and a friend were down to LA & San Diego for the VW Classic, Eade was kind enough to show us his collection, but the Green Meanie was off somewhere and not at Eade's shop, so I am very much looking forward to my issue of Excellence showing up (probably in 2 weeks is seemingly how long to takes to reach Canada!).

Although Excellence doesn't come with audio clips, which is too bad because I really wanted to hear that bad boy!

Here we go again...me waiting for an EXCELLENCE issue to arrive. Dunno why, but Oregon seems to be the last state they are delivered to. Way to go, Eade...I'm sure I'll enjoy the piece...in another couple of weeks or so...

Paul -- I take this as a "heads up" to watch the mail box over the next few weeks...

At a guess, they mail these things in stages, and we are lumped in with Calif. despite the fact that our mail is a lot slower.

Has anybody in Washington state gotten it yet??

Thanks for the mention Roger! Finally saw it myself today.
Like I mentioned after I had taken the photos - its hard to take a bad picture of such a fine automobile!

Im proud of the story/photos and greatful that Eade allowed me to shoot the car.

Here you go guys...have a look at the article online. Not quite the same touchy-feely sensation as holding the mag I'll admit, but at least you'll get to read it!

Eade, I know I've said it before (I sound like a teenage groupie) but that car is really something . Great article (if not a little too short maybe), great pics by Dave.

    Cheers,
