    Anyone Painting Viper Green??

Need a bit of kind assistance. Kermit is now going to be sans A/C. Even though wifey was concerned about the heat of the summer driving in my '73 E, the warm days to date (in the mid-90's) have convinced her that the A/C really isn't necessary.

Now I've got a lot of A/C parts to unload, but that isn't my issue today.

During the restore, I left the blower mounted in the trunk. Now I want to pull it out, and return the car to pre-A/C condition. I have found a cover for the smuggler's box. I just need to find someone that is going to shoot their car Viper Green, and is willing to paint the smuggler's box door for me when they shoot their car.

I am willing to pay for the consideration, of course.

If you aren't painting -- do you know someone who is? I should have the cover in about a week - 10 days.

    TIA

    Viper green.

Hello: I would be interested in your ac stuff if it is in good shape. I could have my painter paint the cover for you in Viper green if you want to trade some stuff out. You do know that the cover should be black, but I assume that you've painted the trunk area all green. Let me know on the AC parts, I need them for my 70 S that will be back to Conda green some day. Thanks Eric

    Larry,
Being this is inside the car you may want to consider paintscratch.com. They have early 911 colors by paint code and you can buy it in touch up or spray can. Might be something easy to do yourself. They had both gulf bleu and orange and matched my paint perfectly for touch up. Just a thought.

    Eric,

In a '73 the trunk should be body color. If you do a search you will find information on when the trunk went from black to body color.

Oh, that's close enough. In the right light, no one will be able to tell the difference. (still laughing over that one.)

It was a great weekend, Dave. Thanks for your hospitality. BTW, didja find the 73 brochure? (Last time I'll bug you about it.)
